Decanter Awards: Makarounas Wines

Six wines from Makarounas Boutique Winery received Gold, Silver and Bronze at Decanter World Wine Awards – the world’s largest and most influential wine competition.

Spourtiko got a Gold (95 points) for the second year in a row. The white wines Vasilissa and Aerides were awarded with the Silver medals, and the reds Maratheftiko, Yiannoudi, and En Archi got the Bronze medals.

These results are truly outstanding for Cyprus and its indigenous varieties which can stand among the giants of the global wine business.
